The exhibit doesn't stop at personal narratives; it offers a historical timeline stretching from pre-colonial times to the present day. As visitors progress, they'll encounter a symbolic "tunnel," representing the journey through time and the evolving struggles faced by those connected to the sea.
Highlighting the ecological importance of the West Philippine Sea, "Not One Inch" collaborates with esteemed institutions like the University of the Philippines Marine Science Institute, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Through documented evidence, the exhibit emphasizes the region's rich marine ecosystems.
Despite the 2016 ruling by the International Permanent Court of Arbitration, declaring China's maritime claims baseless, the Philippines continues to face challenges in the West Philippine Sea.
