Brilliant Skin Essentials Inc., owned by skincare and beauty mogul Glenda Dela Cruz, better known as “Miss Glenda,” has been named the 2025 Top Employer of the Year by the Municipality of Morong, Rizal.
Miss Glenda received the plaque of recognition signed by Mayor Sidney B. Soriano on March 13 during a ceremony held at the Comandancia Building in Morong.
Aside from this award, Brilliant Skin Essentials Inc. was also recognized as the Top 3 Outstanding Business Taxpayer of the Year and Top 4 Highest Real Property Taxpayer of the Year.
Meanwhile, another of Miss Glenda's businesses, Pink Ladder Construction and Development OPC, was recognized as the Top 14 Outstanding Business Taxpayer of the Year.
In her statement at the ceremony, Miss Glenda said that the award was special because it came from the town where she grew up.
"This is not just any award for me, because it comes from Morong, the town where I came from. The place where I grew up. The place that gave me courage, even in the times when I didn't know myself that well," he said.
Currently, Brilliant Skin Essentials has over 1,000 employees nationwide, and it also has an extensive network of franchisees and distributors in various parts of the Philippines.
"Today, more than a thousand employees are part of Brilliant Skin Essentials throughout the Philippines. There are also thousands of franchisees and distributors who trust our brand. And behind each of them are families who rely on and live because of the opportunity provided by Brilliant Skin Essentials," he emphasized.
According to Miss Glenda, the recognition of Brilliant Skin Essentials as Morong's top employer reflects years of hard work, determination, and sacrifice.
“So for us, being the Top 1 Employer of Morong is not just a number or a title. It is the result of dreaming, hard work, and sacrifice,” he said.
The company is also preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, a milestone that Miss Glenda says demonstrates the perseverance and persistence in building the brand despite the challenges she has faced.
He also assured that the company will continue to give back assistance and opportunities to the community where its success began.
